For server owners
Get real players on your game server
SpawnBoost gets real, verified players onto your game server on any date you choose. You set a goal and a reward, players sign in with Steam and play, and our server-side connector checks the goal. You fund the campaign up front but pay only for goals that get completed — unused budget is refunded automatically.
What you get
Players who do things — and come back
A busier server when you need it
Wipe day, mid-wipe top-ups, weekend prime time, a launch — any date range you choose.
Players who play
They build, gather and come back on day 3 and day 5 — that's what the goals ask for.
A clear price before you pay
No subscription. No setup fee. Unused budget is refunded automatically.
A retention report
Who finished, who came back on day 3 and who was still playing on day 5.
How it works
Three steps to your first campaign
- 01
Add your server
Sign in with Steam, add your server and install our small connector. It pairs itself with a 6-digit code from your console — about five minutes.
- 02
Pick a goal, a reward and the dates
Start with Stay the Wipe, our default campaign: goals on day 1, 3 and 5, with more of the reward on the later days. Or pick a single goal like “Play 90 minutes and place a Tool Cupboard”. Set the reward, how many players you want and when it runs.
- 03
Fund it and watch players arrive
Pay by card. Players press Start, connect, play and reach the goal. You pay only for completed goals and get a report on who came back.
Example
30 players × €4
- Rewards (30 × €4.00)
- €120.00
- Service fee, max (15% + €0.25 per verified player)
- €25.50
- You fund
- €145.50
Each verified player costs you €4.85 all-in. If 26 finish, you pay €126.10 and the rest goes back to your card. After your first campaign settles cleanly, its fee (up to €20) comes back as credit.
The connector
What it does — and doesn't do
- Sees when SpawnBoost players join and what they do in-game, so we can check goals.
- Sends signed reports to SpawnBoost.
- Doesn't change gameplay, loot, or your player count.
- Doesn't need your RCON password or admin access.
- Doesn't track players who didn't join through SpawnBoost (only basic counts for your report).
For Rust: one file in your HarmonyMods folder. Works on vanilla Rust, no mod loader needed. How tracking works →
When to run a campaign
Wipe day is popular, but players can't be everywhere at once. Rust campaigns run on any date range you choose, with an optional daily time window.
New server launch
Get the first players in the door. Goal: Stay the Wipe (day 1, 3 and 5).
Wipe day
Start the wipe full. Goal: settle in — play 90 min and place a Tool Cupboard.
Mid-wipe dip (days 2–6)
Top up when population bleeds. Goal: come back on day 3 or day 5.
Quiet weekdays
Lift a slow evening with a daily time window, e.g. 18:00–23:00.
Event night
Fill a raid night or build contest at a fixed time.
Comeback weekend
Bring new players in for Friday–Sunday prime time.
Fair-play limits
What every campaign is limited to
- Built for new players: returning players we can recognise are flagged in your report now, and excluded automatically once the recent-players check is switched on (after legal review).
- Sponsored players are capped at 25% of your server's recent peak, so your regulars stay the majority (new or empty servers can always sponsor 10).
- Your first campaign is capped at €150 of rewards, released after your payment has cleared.
These limits keep your population honest and protect both sides while a new account's first payment settles.
Server rules
Built to keep your listing clean
SpawnBoost never changes the player count your server reports, never gives players items, and never runs commands on your server. Players are rewarded by SpawnBoost for reaching goals, like any advertising campaign. Each game has its own server rules, so read the ones for your game and decide for your own server.
Questions from server owners
Does SpawnBoost change my server's player count?
No. We never touch what your server reports. The players in your server list are real people who joined.
Is this allowed on my server?
SpawnBoost doesn't fake player counts, doesn't give players items or DLC, and doesn't change gameplay. Players are rewarded by SpawnBoost for reaching goals, like any advertising campaign. Each game has its own server rules, so read the ones for your game and decide for your own server.
What if fewer players finish than I paid for?
You get the difference back. Unused spots and rejected rewards are refunded, including our fee on them.
